Medical Gas Manifold Systems

Integral Medical Gas Plants are engineered to provide regular and reliable 24/7 gas service to critical hospital departments such as operating rooms, intensive care units, patient rooms, and emergency services.

The system reduces the pressure of high-pressure gases in cylinders (approx. 200 Bar) such as Oxygen, Nitrous-Oxide, or Carbon Dioxide to the hospital line pressure level (4-5 Bar). Through the Pneumatic Auto Change-Over Panel located between two redundant cylinder groups (Ramp A and Ramp B), the system automatically switches to the full cylinder group without experiencing even a momentary interruption.

Engineering & Safety Advantages

  • Pneumatic Auto Changeover: Electricity-independent switching ensuring zero outage during power cuts.
  • Dual Stage Regulation: High-flow 1st and 2nd stage brass regulators providing smooth line pressure.
  • Emergency Bypass Line: Integrated bypass valves allowing maintenance without interrupting supply.
  • BMS Connectivity: ModBus (RS-485) communication transmitting pressure status to hospital BMS.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The system consists of two cylinder banks (Ramp A and B). When the pressure in one bank falls below the set limit, the pneumatic changeover valve mechanically switches to the other full bank without any interruption or pressure fluctuation in the gas flow to the hospital.

All our gas plants are designed and certified in full compliance with HTM 02-01 (UK Department of Health norms), EN ISO 7396-1, and the Medical Device Directive (MDD 93/42/EEC).

Yes. Our plants feature electronic control panels with the modBus (RS485) communication protocol. Cylinder ramp pressure statuses, changeover alarms, and fault notifications can be transmitted instantly to the hospital's Building Management System (BMS).
